GREENE INC. INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES

To: All program participants, families, and residential providers

The following is the Greene, Inc. 2022/2023 procedure for inclement weather days:

  • Greene, Inc. “PLAN A”

    • This means that there will be a 2-hour delay for our ADS program

      • Transportation will be delayed 2 hours as well, but will be provided, with pick-up times being pushed back the delayed 2 hours and drop off times remaining the same.  Both pick-up and drop-off times are subject to slight change, depending on the number of riders for the day.

      • If you so choose, families, caregivers and providers will have the option of transporting their loved one to Greene, Inc. at an earlier time.  Doors will open at 9:00am for drop off.  You may still choose to utilize transportation for the trip home.

      • Programming will still end at 2:30pm.

      • Greene, Inc. will utilize the OneCallNow system for notification.  It will read “Plan A: 2-hour delay”.  Facebook page will also be updated with the decision or any changes that occur.

      • Transportation will still be provided for most individuals involved in community employment. Individuals who will be affected by this time frame will be notified directly by the transportation manager.

  • Greene, Inc. “PLAN B”

    • This may be called following a PLAN A or initially from the beginning

      • Transportation WILL NOT be provided for any individuals in ADS or Community Employment. 

      • Families, caregivers and/or providers may still bring their loved one in for programming.  Hours of operation will be 9:00am-2:30pm.

      • Participants MUST be picked up at the end of the programming day (2:30pm)…extensions will not be granted for later pick up.

      • Families/providers are asked to call the main telephone line ((937)562-4200) to let us know if you plan on bringing your loved one in. If call is not answered, please leave a message as they will be checked several times throughout the day.

      • Greene, Inc. will notify via OneCall system as “PLAN B”.  Greene, Inc.’s Facebook page will also be updated with the decision or any changes that occur.

  • Greene, Inc. “CLOSED”

    • This means that ADS and transportation are closed for the day.  ADS programming will not be available for families and/or providers to drop their loved ones off.

      • There will be no transportation for ADS or community Employment.

      • Greene, Inc. will notify via OneCall as “CLOSED”. Greene, Inc.’s Facebook page will also be updated with the decision or any changes that occur.
